Shipping Rates

The standard MyBoxBuyer shipping service is based around customer pickup. Customers must meet our delivery vehicle or personnel at a pickup location or warehouse to collect their order. Check our trip schedule for pickup times. Customers can also choose home delivery. Additional charges may apply for home delivery. Check the rate schedule below.

We have now eliminated the min order fee for Halifax customers only. We charge a 30% commission on orders less than $200.

Region A


These locations are serviced directly by MBB vehicles and personnel. Region A customers can qualify for home delivery at no additional charge provided the pre-tax value of their order is greater than $1250. Customer orders that do not exceed the minimum can add home delivery during the checkout process for an additional $50. Region A customers that are more than 40 km from the city centre (i.e. Bridgewater, Lunenburg, Chester) must pay an additional "out of service area" fee of $15 for home delivery.

Region A Service Areas:
Nova Scotia: Halifax, Lunenburg, Bridgewater, Annapolis Valley, Truro, Amherst
New Brunswick: Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton
PEI: Charlottetown

Shipping Rates:
  • Free home delivery for orders greater than $1250 or an additional $50 for orders less than $1250.
  • Minimum service fee or "flat rate" of $50 for orders less than $200
  • 25% commission applied to pre-tax value of orders between $200-$500
  • 20% commission applied to pre-tax value of orders between $501-$2500
  • 17%,commission applied to pre-tax value of orders between $2501-$5000
  • Further reductions can be negotiated by customer upon request for orders exceeding 5001

Region B


These are remote locations serviced by MyBoxBuyer's courier contractors.  MyBoxBuyer will provide a quote on these orders upon request or after receiving a submitted order to orders@myboxbuyer.com . Please include your shopping list, shipping address and contact details. We will quote as soon as possible. Quotes may take several days to produce, so please submit no less than three days before a trip deadline.

Region B Service Areas:
Nova Scotia: Cape Breton (excluding Sydney) and locations west of Bridgewater
New Brunswick: Miramichi and Bathurst 
Newfoundland: St John's

Approximate Shipping Rates:
  • Home delivery can be added for an additional fee depending on location and order size.
  • Minimum service fee or "flat rate" of $100 for orders less than $200 in Newfoundland only
  • Minimum service fee or "flat rate" of $100 for orders less than $200 in NB and NS Region B
  • 45% commission applied to pre-tax value of orders between $200-$400
  • 35% commission applied to pre-tax value of orders between $401-$900
  • 30% commission applied to pre-tax value of orders between $901-$2500
  • 27% commission applied to pre-tax value of orders between $2501-5000
  • Further reductions can be negotiated by customer upon request

Payment

MyBoxBuyer's preferred method of receiving payment is through interac email transfer. We also accept cash and cheques. For larger orders we will provide customers our banking details for direct deposits. Cheques are payable to (MyBoxBuyer.com, Inc)
